This starter pack of sessions includes 4 key sessions that will set you up for success going forward.
- Introductory Session and Assessment
I will set you up with the basics you most need to know to embark on the whole foods plant-based lifestyle. In this deep dive into your goals and challenges, I will share advice, recipes, key information and resources to empower you to succeed. (2 hours)
- Menu Planning / Store Tour / Shopping Trip
I will help you select some starter recipes, then discuss how to shop for them, how to read food labels, which ingredients are helpful and which are best left on the store shelf. Locals to Sarasota and nearby areas have the option of meeting at a local store and shopping together in person. (1½ hours)
- Kitchen Essentials
What is lurking in your kitchen that might be sabotaging your health and wellbeing? We will discuss how to set yourself up for success, including kitchen equipment you might need to stock or update, ways to streamline the cooking and prepping process, my favorite cooking tools to save time. (1 hour)
- Cooking Workshop
Cooking session with the Food Pharmacist. Learn how to prepare healthy plant based meals that are true crowd pleasers. This dynamic class is hands-on and take place in the convenience of your own kitchen. Once we have created your personalized cooking class menu together, I will send you a shopping list so you can purchase the ingredients ahead of time, and be ready to get cooking as soon as your instructor arrives! (2 ½ hours)
